Campbell’s Blog

While we were still in the hospital Campbell had some other visitors. Grandpa and Nana stopped by for a visit at different times on Saturday (they missed the deadline for the first post on the blog).

First was Grandpa who wasn’t able to make it up on Friday and instead came up Saturday afternoon. He came (almost) straight to the hospital to say hello before going back to the house to help Grandma with Mara.

Nana was looking like she might not make it, but arrived a little later in the afternoon to see her grandson. They had fun sitting together while Nana and Mom chatted. Dad went out to get some dinner at the time.

Believe it or not, Sunday was already time to go home. When Mara was born it seemed like we wanted to spend as much time as possible in the hospital. This time it was different, in part because things with Campbell were going well, and also because we wanted to get home to Mara. It was good to head home. Campbell was dressed up in his going home outfit.
